Continuing the Work in Castries North

A Message From Stephen

I was raised by parents committed to the church and to the community, who modelled my values of service. I have had the pleasure of serving for many years as a civil servant and diplomat. My desire is to put all my effort and energy into the service of the community and the people of Saint Lucia. It is my firm commitment to work to lift up those who require support, to care for the needs of each and every one, and always put the interests of the people of Saint Lucia first.

With your support, I know we can restore, rebuild, and uplift Castries North.

Sincerely,

Leadership Across Policy & Diplomacy

This platform also reflects the advocacy, public policy, and political engagement of Stephen Fevrier, a specialist in international relations, public policy, and international trade, with extensive experience across multilateral institutions, regional organizations, and national governments.

Stephen Fevrier has served as Senior Advisor to the Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), advising on international trade. He has also held senior leadership and coordination roles within the multilateral system, including chairing and leading multi-agency initiatives linking trade, development, sustainability, and private sector engagement.

He previously served as Ambassador and Permanent Observer of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) to the United Nations in Geneva, where he led diplomatic engagement on trade, sustainable development, and regional economic integration, and coordinated the CARICOM Group of Ambassadors in Geneva. Earlier in his career, he held senior advisory and technical roles with the Commonwealth Secretariat, the Caribbean Regional Negotiating Machinery (now CARICOM OTN), and the Government of Saint Lucia, working on trade negotiations, regulatory cooperation, and development strategy.

His professional experience spans the Caribbean, Latin America, Africa, and the Pacific, with sustained engagement in Geneva-based multilateral diplomacy. Alongside his international career, he has remained actively engaged in national politics and civic life in Saint Lucia, including constituency-level work and public advocacy.

The development vision underpinning this engagement emphasizes sustainable and inclusive growth, economic diversification, stronger institutions, regional integration, and the creation of meaningful economic opportunities through trade, entrepreneurship, investment, and skills development. Through this advocacy pillar, the platform seeks to contribute constructively to public discourse and promote evidence-based policymaking aligned with the long-term interests of the country and the wider region.
